He moved to Narragansett, Rhode Island in 1993 and attended Johnson & Wales University College of Culinary Arts. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1998 and immediately took the position as Culinary Purchaser for the College of Culinary Arts. This is where he gained experience in food cost, food quality and wine.
His exceptional career of over 35 years, consists of working and managing a variety of restaurants, hotels, treatment facilities, yacht and country clubs.
Shea still continues to read and keep up with the latest food trends and products. He is constantly in the kitchen developing new ways to prepare foodstuff using only the freshest and best ingredients. His food is not only colorful, imaginative and tasty, but
nutritious as well.
Chef Shea now resides in Massachusetts with his wife Amy Gail and a small zoo of pets. In his spare time, Chef Colin is an amateur artist. He paints, sculpts and listens to a variety of music.
